How it works

How RunVEMBER works...

For the 30 days throughout November you will run or walk, cycle or swim for every day.

Thinking of signing up to RunVEMBER 2021? Here are a few words from the main man himself:

This year has been quite a challenge in itself and has seen a massive increase on the demand for food banks and lots of people/families who would normally get by without them, having to rely on their services. The homeless community have suffered greatly too :'( This has made us here at RunVEMBER HQ even more determined to get out there and help again.

Like previous years we have provided a list and this year we will be providing 3 lists detailing the supplies in need of our three chosen charities: 1 for Swindon Food Collective, 1 for Threshold and 1 for the Harbour Project.

Following on from last years success, we ask you use a supermarket bag for life. And you can fill either: A bag for each charity or a bag for one of the charities. Please label each bag with the name of the chosen charity.

We have worked with the three charities to compile the lists with the items they have requested. From the list you can put as little or as much as you want there is no minimum or maximum amount of products as long as they are from the lists. If you would rather a monetary donation then we recommend a £15 donation but again it's whatever you can manage, we understand that everyone has different circumstances. Feel free to spread the word and get some help from your family, friends, work colleagues, even your neighbours! :)

Here is a link to our donations page for those who wish to donate instead of filling a bag 4 life. TBC

How does RunVEMBER work?

RunVEMBER as a whole works closely with local homeless charities but have chosen to help families in need this year as well. Aside from the charity we as an event have tried to bring the local community closer together and to help those who in desperate need in the cold and wet winter months.
